From a small and humble kitchen in South Africa I watched from the age of five as my Ouma Bessie would bake her rusks with love, each batch baked to perfection. Her famous buttermilk rusks took decades to perfect.

Now, more than 20 years later, I proudly step into my Ouma’s shoes to carry on her legacy. With the same passion and love for baking, I am honored to use the very recipe she created.

Each rusk is handmade from start to finish and then carefully packaged up, ready for you to enjoy.
